Rooted in Faith,

United in Action, and

Building a Hopeful Future

Our Mission

Recent events remind us of the critical need for faith leaders and their congregations to take an active role in addressing the despair and hopelessness that contribute to the violence in our communities. Communities of Hope was conceived for times such as these—to reclaim the prophetic voice of the church, restore faith and hope, and place God at the forefront of efforts to bring true peace to our city.

As Bishop Shelton Fabre once said, “Peace is being in right relationship with God and each other.” That is our mission—to reweave the torn fabric of our relationships and rely on our shared faith and values to guide and sustain us.
